GOLF CLUB’S LIFESAVING GIFT
CLUNES Golf Club has received a defibrillator from the Department of Health and Human Services which will be on standby in case of any major cardiac emergencies. For Ray Skinner, Club President, the defib brings peace of mind. “It will be placed in a position which will make it available 24/7 to anyone in the area,” he said. “We are grateful to the department for their insight into sporting clubs in a very practical way.” Club members have met with St John Ambulance’s Jonathan Barge to understand how the machine operates, and for CPR training.
