Sally’s Paddock at Redbank.

Sally’s Paddock

In 2020 Sally’s Paddock celebrates 47 years as the winery continues to operate on the principles from the early days – producing exceptional quality, handmade, estate-grown reds.

The only difference during these strange times is they are currently operating from an online cellar door where you can purchase from a large variety of Pyrenees, estate grown reds, with Australia wide shipping.

The detailed tasting notes beneath each product from Sally’s Paddock winemaker Sasha Fair will help you find your perfect match and the care packs on the website are also a perfect selection of wine and produce. Visit sallyspaddock.com.au for more information.

Peerick Vineyard

Michael O’Hara, owner and general manager of Peerick Vineyard said while the current situation with COVID-19 has been devastating for business, it has a silver lining with Australian wineries steadily increasing their direct to consumer sales.

For Peerick, that includes online, cellar door, wine club and farmers’ markets. In 2019 the Peerick brand was relaunched into the market, and the pandemic has accelerated momentum towards new ways of selling, because all winemakers have been forced to adapt and accept new behaviours.

Mr O’Hara said direct to consumer sales are now more important than ever as the industry adapts to this new world with the model a benefit for both consumers and wineries.

The convenience of having competitively priced, high quality wine delivered to your door together with opportunities to directly interact with the winery are big pluses for consumers.

Peerick wines can be purchased online through their website peerick.com.au.

Taltarni’s 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Taltarni

For over 50 years Taltarni has crafted world-class wines that start in the pristine environment of the Pyrenees vineyards. Their ethos of balance, elegance, and sustainability pays homage to a deep connection with the land, where the rolling hills and breathtaking views create a magnificent backdrop for the production of outstanding wines.

Steadfast in their commitment to crafting exceptional wines, Taltarni winemakers are in an ongoing quest for the perfect drop. This can be seen in the recently released Halliday 2021 Wine Companion, where Taltarni was once more named a five-star winery receiving high scores for over 20 wines.

It’s the finer details that unlock the true magic of Taltarni, and we invite you to share in this small piece of heaven.

Blue Pyrenees Estate’s Dry Bone Rose.

Blue Pyrenees Estate

Blue Pyrenees Estate was established in 1963 by the French company Remy Martin and was among the modern Australian wine industry’s first ventures into cool climate viticulture.

Today, it’s 100 per cent Australian owned and is led by chief winemaker Andrew Koerner who’s proud of the fact that all wines are made from grapes grown in their vineyards and produced in their estate winery.

The unspoilt landscape of Blue Pyrenees Estate’s natural vineyard amphitheatre is a grape grower’s paradise, and its myriad slopes, aspects, elevations and soil types provide a range of microclimates.

The contrasting terroirs on one vineyard site suit the production of grapes for methode traditionnelle sparkling, red and white wine, a rarity not just in Australia but in vineyards around the world.
