Growing area gets convenience
A NEW service station, cafe and grocery offering has marked the continued expansion of a partnership between two retail brands into the region.
The latest APCO IGA X-press service station has launched in Alfredton and is APCO’s third Ballarat location.
With a 24/7 cafe, an IGA X-press and Viva Energy fuel pumps, APCO director Robert Anderson said the store brings three conveniences under one roof.
“We like to make things as easy and convenient as possible for our customers,” he said. “Customers can pay for their fuel and their top-up groceries at the same time before grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat from our modern cafe 24/7.
“It’s all about saving time and making life easier. Fuel, groceries, freshly made cafe food and barista style coffee, all in one great location, with ample front-shop parking.
“We have tailored our range of grocery lines to give locals more of what they like, including many of their favourite, less expensive brands.”
The cafe and grocery sections are divided into two separate sections with a point-of-sale hub at the centre of the store.
A deli is also featured as well as a range of hot and cold food offerings.
Following the first APCO store’s opening in 1978, the latest location is the seventh collaboration between APCO and IGA.
The Alfredton service station is the 27th APCO location and is located at 47-99 Learmonth Street.
