Have your say on how they did
GOLDEN Plains Shire staff are seeking feedback on the municipality’s upcoming strategy to increase the efficiency of customer services.
Community consultation on the plan will take the form of two surveys found on the Shire’s website, and mayor Cr Gavin Gamble said they’ll provide an “exciting start” to the project, drafted as part of the Council Plan 2021-2025.
“We want to know about positive and negative experiences, what council does well and what could be better,” he said.
Through the draft customer service strategy, the municipality is aiming to improve response times with a focus on commitment and accountability in their customer service approach.
The second survey, called the customer service strategy post-interaction survey, asks for feedback around specific customer experiences and invites suggestions on future improvements.
“We’re also interested in new and different ways that customers may want to interact with council such as web chat or in person at community locations and events,” Cr Gamble said.
The survey opened Thursday, 20 January and will end at 5pm Monday, 14 February.
It can be completed either through goldenplains.vic.gov.au/consultations, emailed to [email protected], or mailed to Golden Plains Shire Council, PO Box 111, Bannockburn, 3331, marked ‘attention: customer service strategy survey’.
