A TWO-DAY program at Bannockburn Library will help creatives gain professional skills.
Scheduled for Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March from 10am until 4pm each day, the program will teach creatives about ways to earn revenue and build connections.
It is open to all creatives including musicians, visual and performing artists, writers and digital content creators.
“Growing my Creative Practice is part of Golden Plains Shire Council’s and Geelong Regional Libraries’ take part local art program, which has been running annually for the last three years,” a Golden Plains Shire spokesperson said.
“The collaborative program offers a series of free art and craft-based workshops for community members interested in growing their creative skills.”
The workshop will be facilitated by local artist Jennifer Cromarty. Topics will include setting up your practice, building product positioning, brand and design, the importance of digital technology, building authentic connections, legal, insurance and tax requirements, managing money and channels to market.
