Host your area for Mother’s Day Classic event

THE Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic is a national participation walk and run event held in nearly 100 locations across Australia, raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

In over two decades MDC has raised more than $35 million increasing the five-year survival rate for women diagnosed with breast cancer to 91 per cent.

The Mother’s Day Classic provides the opportunity to create an inspiring fundraising event where everyone can get involved to support women and this worthy cause.

The aim is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer.

The event can be as simple as a walk in the park and a sausage sizzle with family and friends or a slow run around the lake.

You can now sign up to host your local area now. Walk, run, fundraise, donate or volunteer to help make Mother’s Day a special day for all women.

Registration to host an event closes on Friday, 22 March and the Mother’s Day Classic event’s will be held on Sunday, 12 May.
