THIS Good Friday, plenty is planned for Inverleigh and District’s Family Fun Day at Victoria Park.

With all proceeds directed to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, everyone will be entertained.

A major ‘Make A Difference’ auction, live entertainment from the Mik Maks and local performers, a petting zoo and wildlife show, a karate show, face painting, raffles, food and market stalls, rides, a jumping castle and lucky dips have all been organised to keep families busy.

Organiser, Daniel Symons said the build up to the event this year has been big.

“Every year our event grows,” he said. “Without support from the local and surrounding area, it cannot take place. All of our logistical equipment is donated to us by local businesses along with all the fantastic auction items.

“Most of our committee members have had our own children at the RCH, and to know that every cent we raise goes back into the hospital is an amazing feeling,” Mr Symons said.

“The Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal is only great because of our dedicated volunteers. We have fun with the whole family involved.”
