Karova Lounge comedy club is back

AARON Gocs, Ballarat-based comedian originally from Melbourne, is bringing comedy back to the Karova Lounge.

On Thursday 8 November the well-known music venue will morph into an intimate setting with two Melbourne comedians – Nick Capper and Urvi Majumdar heading the bill.

Ms Majumdar, a high school teacher when she is not a comedian and Mr Capper, an eight-year veteran of the comedy scene will be supported on the night by locals Tim Young and Mr Gocs.

Mr Gocs, a stand-up comedian of ten years, said he is trying to add something new to the local scene to show there is more to Ballarat than sports and the movies.

The show, running for about two hours with intermission, kicks off at 8.00pm. Entry is $10.00.
