Khalid to play Ballarat set

GRAMMY-nominated singer and songwriter, Khalid, will hit Ballarat for one show only on Saturday, 30 November.

While the venue is yet to be announced, the city will be one of just six stops on his Free Spirit Tour across Australia and New Zealand that also includes Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

Hailing from El Paso, Texas, the R&B star’s debut album, American Teen, went double platinum.

His first single, 2016’s Location, topped out at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

2018 saw Khalid nominated for five Grammy Awards, while the year before he landed the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist.
