Kids market returns
SMALL & Mighty Children’s Market has launched its dates for 2019, with the first to be held on Sunday, 28 April.
Focused primarily on baby and children’s products, Small & Mighty Children’s Market will showcase handmade, bespoke and boutique brands from Ballarat and further afield across over 40 stall holders.
The event provides a platform for small businesses to showcase their ranges and to share their passion with others, while also bringing some favourite online and Instagram business to Ballarat.
The brainchild of mother and daughter team, Lyn Vickers and Georgia Fiske, Small & Mighty brings together the best of pregnancy, babies and children’s product and services.
“As a creator of bespoke pieces myself, I understand the passion my fellow stallholders put into the pieces they create.” Ms Vickers said.
“Market shoppers often have the opportunity to make more ethical and sustainable choices.”
Stall holders include Felix and Leopold, Mia and Lottie, DimpleDot Design, The Laminated Cotton Shop and End of Stash.
“I read once that by shopping at markets helps pays for ballet lessons for a stall-holder’s daughter or new footy boots for their little boy, and that really resonated,” said Ms Fiske “The market will also have a raffle, with the prize made up of items generously donated by stall holders, as well as face painting with a gold coin donation, both directly supporting the amazing Eureka Mums organisation.”
The first Small & Mighty Children’s Market for 2019 will be held from 10am to 3pm, St Patrick’s Hall, 3 Lyons Street, Ballarat on Sunday, 28 April. Markets will also be held on 28 July and 10 November.
