Latest business directory ready for launch

THE fifth edition of the Bannockburn & District Business Directory will be officially launched on Thursday 24 July.

The launch event will be held at the Bannockburn Golf Club from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

The 48-page directory is produced by the Golden Plains Chamber of Commerce and contains an extensive listing of businesses in Bannockburn and throughout the Golden Plains Shire.

Chamber president Peter Nunn said the 2025-26 print run will be 7000 copies.

They will be available for free, primarily from the Woolworths supermarket at the Bannockburn Central shopping centre, but Mr Nunn said the chamber would also distribute them to smaller townships throughout the municipality such as Inverleigh and Teesdale.

This year’s directory is the first one to be produced under the rebranded chamber, which changed its name from the Bannockburn and District Chamber of Commerce to better reflect the breadth of its membership base.

Mr Nunn said the directory had proven popular in past years.

“It seems to be fairly well received,” he said.
