ANY adults who want to get creative with one of the world’s most popular toys will have the chance to do so at Bannockburn Library next month.

The Lego for Adults session will be held on Saturday 7 October from 10am until 11.30am.

The event aims to provide a way for Lego lovers to meet likeminded people, share ideas, and build new creations.

Participants can bring their own Lego or there will be tubs of the creative bricks provided.

CEO of Geelong Regional Libraries, Vanessa Schernickau, said Lego can provide many benefits to adults.

“Engaging in creative activities like Lego building not only sparks imagination but also provides a therapeutic outlet for adults,” she said.

“The library is the perfect place to try new activities, and playing with Lego can relieve stress, promote mindfulness, and is a chance to connect with others with similar interests.”

She encouraged the community to come along and express their creative side.

“Why should kids have all the fun?” she said.

“We’re delighted to offer this enjoyable session in a welcoming and inclusive space for the Golden Plains community.”
