LIONS CHAIR GOES TO TALBOT PLACE

BUNINYONG Mt Helen Lions Club have teamed up with Meridian Energy – Mt Mercer Wind Farm to donate a Lopital shower and toilet chair to aged and continuing care facility Talbot Place.

Recently, Gary White, president Buninyong Mt Helen Lions Club and club member Simon Jess joined with Shaun Coffey from Meridian Energy to present the equipment.

Talbot Place requested the device after management noted that it would not be possible to purchase the much-needed equipment from the capital expenditure budget.

The chair will be used by many of Talbot Place’s 30 residents and assist staff in delivering continued high-quality care safely.
