TAKE a thoughtful Sunday stroll through Buninyong on 20 October in support of the challenges many people face in their own mind.

Organised by the Mental Health Foundation Australia, the 5km or 10km courses will unite the community, and encourage connections and friendship, which are all factors that help to bring positive mental health change.

A chance to get active outdoors and meet new people, Walk for Mental Health is a wellbeing event part of National Mental Health Month that will run from the Buninyong Botanical Gardens, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Fresh fruit and merchandise, including t-shirts, caps, pins and water bottles will be provided. Register online at trybooking.com/bfhdl.
