THE Ballarat Times News Group arrival was completed last week with a launch party held at Oscar’s Hotel & Cafe Bar. The event saw over 80 attendees from across the business, politics, education and media communities get together and talk about the potential of the new mastheads The Ballarat Times News Group and The Golden Plains Times. Some lucky invitees came away with more than just a great night with Travis Hurst from Collier’s Real Estate Ballarat winning a private showing experience for 18 people to the value of $450 donated by a Regent Cinemas. Other door prizes included a fullpage advertisement in the Ballarat Times and three surfboards, one of which was won by Anthony Schink who then payed it forward by donating it to Commerce Ballarat’s charity fundraiser.
