GOLDEN Plains Shire is once again taking part in the State Government’s Community Satisfaction Survey to measure residents’ perception of the organisation’s performance.
Some residents will receive a call from independent market research agency, National Field Services asking them to undertake the survey.
The agency will contact 100 residents every three months and individual responses will remain confidential.
Last year, Golden Plains Shire scored its lowest score in history of the survey at 42.
The survey looks at a range of areas to identify possible improvements.
“The main objectives of the survey are to assess the performance and services of Victorian councils across a range of measures and to seek insight on ways to provide improved or more efficient service delivery, as well as fulfilling the statutory reporting requirements of councils,” Golden Plains Shire acting CEO Lynnere Gray said.
“If you are contacted, we encourage you to take part in the survey and share your views.
“The findings, along with other measures, help us to address areas of concern to residents within our budgeting and resources, ensuring we continuously improve and meet community needs.”
If community members have questions about the survey, they can contact Golden Plains Shire’s customer experience team on 5220 7111.
