Schools band together

THE School Bands Extravaganza is set for the A.H. Robinson Centre at the Ballarat High School on Tuesday, 13 August at 7pm.

Schools including Mt. Clear College, Ballarat High School, Ballarat Clarendon College, and the Phoenix P-12 Community College will perform with a variety of ensembles and vocalists.

Organiser, Ron Thomas, from the Lions Club of Sebastopol & District said that there are lot of good school aged musicians in Ballarat and the night is a good chance to showcase themselves in front of an audience.

Club will also be raising money for the for the Wellness Centre at the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre.

The concert is expected to run for two hours. Entry is $5 for adults and a gold coin donation for under 15 years. Contact Mr Thomas for more information on 5345 3344.
