SEBASTOPOL CELEBRATES LIBRARY UPGRADE

SEBASTOPOL’s refurbished library was officially opened last Friday by City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Samantha McIntosh and Member for Buninyong, Michaela Settle.

A smoking ceremony from Wathaurong woman, Deanne Gilson cleansed attendees, including Ms Settle and Cr McIntosh, and the library in its new era.

Cr McIntosh said the $2.8 million project has created a space where the community can “sit, relax, enjoy and share amazing stories.”
