SHINING A LIGHT on the Women of RAY WHITE BALLARAT

March 6, 2019 BY

RAY WHITE BALLARAT’S TEAM INCLUDES FIONA TAYLOR, SOPHIE CONSTABLE, STACEY COWELL, HELEN RAE, TRACEY HOLMES, DIANNE EDWARDS, JAY WANE, TIANNA VELLA, SARAH WILSON, GEORGIE GILL AND CHLOE WILSON. MISSING ARE KATE BRENNAN AND KAYLEIGH RAINE.

Highly valued female employees committed to a culture of self, and community, improvement that uplifts the business, and the city.

RAY White Ballarat proudly recognise the women in their business as part of International Women’s Day by highlighting the efforts and achievements of the women in their office who make the business thrive.

With a range of job positions being performed each day, these women are not only business women, but they are wives, mothers and partners. Each day these women contribute to residential, rural and commercial property sales, leasing and management. Support roles include reception, marketing, administration and accounting (just to mention a few) to keep Ray White Ballarat operating.

Many of the team members have been part of the business for over six years and one team member, Helen Rae, has been with the business for 28 years first commencing as a trainee and now in her role as Administration Manager.

Ray White Ballarat is based on the foundation of family values, and it is great to see our women continue growing their careers and wanting to excel by gaining certificates in Business and Property Services and becoming Agents Representatives to open new career paths.

Each year the office makes a conscious effort to contribute to some major fundraisers including Ray White’s ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ program that provides much needed Christmas toys for the Salvation Army, as well as Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and Jeans for Genes Day. During our recent ‘Sale for a Bale’ campaign, $100 was donated from each sale made to help Australian farmers suffering from the drought. Individual staff members like to help make a difference when not working by raising money through sporting clubs and schools as part of their commitment to be integral members of our community.

In 2013 Kayleigh Raine won a Gold medal in WorldSkills for Business Services in the Ballarat/Wimmera Region and went on to compete nationally in the 2014 WorldSkills Australian championships, Kayleigh still team leads and mentors’ competitors with WorldSkills regularly.

Tracey Holmes is a past Council and Infrastructure Committee member of the Federation University and a current member of Ballarat Health Services Foundation Committee.

Each year Tracey participates in Dry July and helps and supports our local community in any way she can, her generosity being noted by helping a new CBD shop owner find a temporary location over the busy Christmas period after a devastating flood. She also recently reached the milestone of Premier status within the Ray White Group for achieving a high level of sales for the 2018-2019 year.

The women of Ray White Ballarat continually achieve great things in our business and strive to give great customer service and satisfaction, backed up by years of experience with a wealth of knowledge. They are a strong league proving that women can also be successful in the Real Estate Industry.
