Smokin’ hot at Kryal Castle

KRYAL Castle is hosting round one of the Heat Beads Pitmaster Series on Saturday, 12 and Sunday, 13 October.

Eight teams will compete in four categories of barbeque smoking and cooking over the two days.

Forrest Lump BBQ and The Smoking Crue are the only two local outfits chasing the prizes.

The meat cooking maestros will be on the go from 10am to 4pm and will be judged for skill, presentation, and taste.

The winners of over $3000 in cash, prizes and trophies will be announced at 3pm on Sunday, 13 October.

Kryal Castle will keep visitors and local residents fed and watered throughout the competition.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the competitors and enjoy all of Kryal Castle’s usual attractions.

Watch the royal joust, wander through the maze, explore the Dragon’s Labyrinth and have a great time in the inflatable theme park.

Pantomimes, archery, face painting, wizard demonstrations and potion making is also available for extra fun.

There are six rounds in the Pitmaster Series and the winner of each event will be given a golden ticket as automatic entry in to the grand final.
