Staley new Shadow Treasurer
LESS than a week after being declared the winner in one of the tightest elections in Victorian history, Ripon MP Louise Stately has received more good news.
She’s been appointed to a top position in new Opposition Leader Michael O’Brien’s shadow cabinet, taking on the role of Shadow Treasurer.
“I know my first and most important role is to be the Member for Ripon to represent my constituents and deliver outcomes for them. I look forward to continuing to do so as I take on this statewide role as Shadow Treasurer,” Ms Stately said.
Mr O’Brien said Ms Staley’s commerce background was part of the reason she got the nod.
