Take your handbag to Bunnings

CHARITY organisation Share the Dignity wants any woman or girl with a handbag relegated to the back of the wardrobe to take it to Bunnings.

Firstly, fill it with the essentials such as pads and tampons, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and soap that will make a difference to the daily life of a homeless woman.

Add a thoughtful note and some little luxuries to show that someone cares.

The handbags will then be donated to a woman in need.

“We want to give Aussie women and girls doing it tough over the holiday period a reason to smile and feel cared for,” said Share the Dignity Founder, Rochelle Courtenay.

Bags can be dropped off at Bunnings until Sunday, 2 December.
