Tesla Powerwall goes on show in Lucas
FAMILY owned builder Hamlan are inviting the community to come along and see their new display home and learn about how Tesla Powerwall works.
Tesla Powerwall is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges using electricity from Bradford solar panels. It also includes cloud-based monitoring from any smart device, so homeowners will be able to monitor and manage their energy, including charging from the grid during offpeak times.
Hamlan is holding a family fun day on Saturday, 20 October to showcase the Tesla Powerwall that is on display in their Buckley 279 display home.
The event will take place between 12-3pm and includes a special appearance from a Tesla electric car as well as a barbeque, coffee van and showbag giveaways.
Andrew Carroll, General Manager at Hamlan, said that he was very excited to have the Tesla Powerwall included in their new display home at Lucas and his team are looking forward to demonstrating the Tesla App to visitors at the event.
“We’re very excited to have our first display home in Ballarat and we’re looking forward to showing visitors to this display our Tesla Powerwall which comes as part of our standard inclusion,” he said.
“As part of our partnership with CSR Bradford and Tesla, we are all looking forward to having a Tesla electric car make a special appearance to our Family Fun Day.”
New home buyers with Hamlan will be able to run their homes with a mix of free and low-cost energy, stored until they are ready to use it.
Hamlan’s Family Fun Day takes place on Saturday, 20 October at 4 Tremain Drive, Lucas, between 12- 3pm. Visit hamlan.com.au for more information.
