Top job for returning WVPHN CEO
THE Western Victoria Primary Health Network has a new leader following the announcement that Rowena Clift will be taking on the CEO role.
Ms Clift previously worked with the Network as the director and is coming off a 10-month term as acting boss at Ballan District Health and Care.
“I am delighted to be taking on the role of CEO at WVPHN. My passion is primary health care and delivering services on the ground to communities,” she said.
“My recent experience in managing a busy health service in a small rural town and a general practice clinic has been invaluable in further understanding the challenges faced by primary health care in rural and remote areas.”
WVPHN board chair Lynne McLennan welcomed the new CEO to her role, which beings in early June.
“I am very pleased to have Rowena Clift back at the PHN,” Ms McLennan said. “she will bring significant experience to the position and the organisation.”
