Wendouree hosts super stage show
A FAMILIAR, friendly face has brought a new group together to entertain the children of Ballarat.
On Thursday, 20 February at the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts, former Hi-5 star, Stevie Nicholson will lead an empowering show, Superdudes.
The new live act written by Nicholson and his partner, Tanika Anderson, encourages kids to find their inner superhero, and champions creativity and imagination through the characters of Wheels, Merman Man, Pencil Pirate and Bubble Trouble.
Nicholson said he’s ready to bring his project to Ballarat families.
“We are so excited,” he said. “The Superdudes are all about inspiring children to see the superhero in themselves and we can’t wait to sing and dance with them.
“It’s an action packed show that is highly engaging. It’s the perfect show for families to enjoy together.”
Superdudes taps into the dreams of many children who have strived to be a superhero and energises its audience to discover their own unique powers, inside and out.
The playful and engaging show aims to prove that anything and anyone has the potential to be super. Children are encouraged to participate, explore and use their imagination without violence.
The team hopes the young audience will get thinking and illustrate their own Superdudes, which could be presented on the group’s social media pages or books.
