Ballarat Property Group throw weight behind cause
PROGRESSIVE local real estate agency, Ballarat Property Group, have jumped on board as a key partner to ensure that the Ballarat Foundation’s 2018 Run for a Cause is possible.
Not only providing a generous cash donation to the cause, they are also behind the real estate sign boards erected around the city.
This year, Run for a Cause has had tremendous support from the Ballarat business community with over 30 organisations committing cash, pro bono services, and product in-kind.
This support is a good head start to ensuring the 2018 event raises much needed funds and awareness of the food insecurity issue in our region.
Ballarat Property Group generously donated 10 real estate boards promoting the event.
Recognised for their support of community events and local charities, Ballarat Foundation CEO, Matt Jenkins, said that Ballarat Property Group were one of the first corporate partners to commit to supporting the event.
“They were quick to support the event and its cause and without the backing from local organisations like Ballarat Property Group, Run for a Cause would not be possible,” Mr Jenkins said.
“I commend the team at BPG and no doubt many of them will be at the start line.”
Employing over 30 staff, Ballarat Property Group are well established as one of the region’s largest real estate firms.
Although a young company, their ethos is focussed on community connection and the partnership with Run for a Cause is clear evidence of this.
BPG Director Daniel Nestor, a keen runner, was asked about his own running journey and what motivated BPG to support Run for a Cause 2018.
“I ran my first half marathon in 2013 as part of my quest for a heathier lifestyle and have been a keen runner ever since,” Mr Nestor said.
“At BPG we are passionate about supporting local events in Ballarat and proud to be a Gold Sponsor or Run for a Cause 2018.
“The ability to make a difference to people lives is important to us, some people in our community have to think about where their next meal is coming from and that’s where we want to help by supporting this worthy event that aims to help with food insecurity issues in our region.”
