Geelong Homes offers buyers a 12-month move-in guarantee

Building delays and supply shortages have pushed construction times to all-time highs.

As builders with nearly 30 years’ experience building homes in the Geelong region, Geelong Homes understand the issues that can arise during the building process – particularly when it comes to timing. To get the timing right and eliminate some of the stress that accompanies building they can offer a 12 month move in guarantee from the day of paying your deposit – helping you avoid extended rental costs, and giving you peace of mind that you’ll be in your new home sooner.

What is the 12 month move-in guarantee?

If you have titled land, Geelong Homes will guarantee you can move into your home within 12 months from the day you pay the initial deposit, as long as you meet their requirements.

What are the requirements?

  • Land must be titled or settled;
  • Construction is in rendered Hebel cladding in lieu of brickwork;
  • Offer is available to restricted build areas within Greater Geelong, Bellarine, Surf Coast and Golden Plains;
  • Land must be ready for a soil test and survey with confirmed access to the site;
  • There’s no planning or siting consents;
  • No major site works;
  • No infrastructure works over standard inclusions;
  • No structural changes to the floorplan;
  • Finance has been pre-approved.

What are my next steps?

Once you have met with one of Geelong Homes new home consultants and they have determined that you have met all the requirements for their guarantee, they will take your deposit and we will get busy with the next steps of your building process. This includes producing your final working drawings and preparing for your Style Studio appointment, where their colour consultant will guide you through the selection of your home’s colours, fixtures and fittings.

And once your new home consultant guides you through your contract details and you have signed your contract, our tradespeople can get on site ready to build your home.

What is Hebel?

Hebel is a steel reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete which can replace traditional bricks and it’s easy to see why this product is becoming so popular. This strong and solid building material can be cut onsite and can be quickly installed without compromising on quality. Hebel is also energy efficient, eco-friendly, reduces noise in the home and is fire resistant.

The lightweight Hebel panels are fixed to the frame of the home and are then rendered giving the home a contemporary style.

Geelong Homes wants building your new home to be an enjoyable, life-changing experience without the worry about timeframes.
