Harcourts Property Manager ranks in top 20
ONE of Harcourts Ballarat’s Property Managers, Monique Plover, was recently recognised as being among the company’s top 20 statewide..
At just 21 years old, Ms Plover’s list of professional achievements is full of things many people twice her age could only dream of.
Along with being a licenced estate agent, she’s also one of the Harcourts Ballarat’s team members chosen to participate in the 2019-2020 Future Leaders Programme.
The program selects 15 of Harcourts Victoria’s best applicants to attend training and networking events and gets them mixing in with some of the industry’s most successful practitioners.
“Harcourts Ballarat is a fantastic place to work, we are always given the opportunity to further our skills with training days at head office and courses such as Future Leaders which entails heading down to Melbourne with a few others from the office and taking part in seminars,” Ms Plover said.
The Harcourts Victoria’s Top 20 Property Manager rankings are based on arrears, lease renewals, vacant properties and lets, and Ms Plover prides herself on keeping her portfolio at a 0 per cent vacancy rate.
She works endlessly with her landlords and tenants, most of the time coming in before and after work hours and on most weekends even when she isn’t on-call.
“The support and encouragement that is given to everyone who works at Harcourts is greatly appreciated and of course managing a portfolio is certainly a team effort,” Ms Plover said.
“We all have each other’s back and will step in to help out at any time, so getting to this point could not have been done without the support of my three directors and the team.”
One of those directors, Peter Ludbrook, praised Ms Plover and said making the list was reward for effort.
“We are all very proud of Monique and the recognition she has received,” he said.
“Chicky, as she is known to us, is a prime example of our experienced and vibrant team of who are all working towards market leading service and outcomes for our landlords and tenants.
“Nothing is too much trouble for her, and she performs at a level well above her years. Last year she became the second youngest licenced estate agent in Victoria, a massive achievement in itself. We will continue to support all our staff as they are what make our business so successful.”
In addition to making the Harcourts Victoria’s Top 20 Property Managers list Ms Plover also recently purchased her first house.
When she’s not at work Ms Plover’s a keen highland dancer, winning many competitions at state and national levels. Last year, she was awarded Top in Australia during the Sydney Internationals for her age group. She dedicates her spare time training and supporting dancers of the new generation.
