Industry awards open

SUBMISSIONS for the Real Estate Institute of Victoria Awards for Excellence are open until 9 August.

The real estate is challenging, fast paced and dynamic. As the representative body of the many specialist professions that make up the industry in Victoria, the REIV is passionate about raising the bar and celebrating the high standards that our members to seek to achieve for their clients.

This is not confined to selling houses, our members include property managers, valuers, owners corporation managers, auctioneers and many other specialist fields.

The annual awards recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in practice and professionalism. In 2019, the REIV will recognise entrants in 35 agency and individual categories for their achievements, service to clients, strategies and commitment to the industry.

Agency categories include large, medium and small Residential Agency of the Year, Commercial Agency of the Year and the Rural Marketing Award. Among the individual categories are Buyer’s Agent of the Year, Operational Leadership Award and Outstanding New Agent of the Year.

The awards are free to enter, and the submission process is simple and streamlined. Winning, or being named as a finalist is a major achievement and sets agencies and professionals apart from competitors.

The REIV has appointed an independent panel of three judges for each category, selected for their knowledge and expertise.

Finalists will be announced on 18 September, with the winners revealed at a gala event in Melbourne on 24 October.
