REIV market snapshot – June 6, 2019

A clearance rate of 65 per cent was recorded over the weekend compared to 63 per cent the week before and 62 per cent the same week last year.

There were 508 auctions reported to the REIV, with 329 selling and 179 being passed in, 83 of those on a vendor bid.

The City of Yarra has metropolitan Melbourne’s strongest clearance rate so far in 2019 with 68.5 per cent from 279 auctions and Fitzroy (40) and Collingwood (20) both recording a 75 per cent clearance rate.
