Welsh introduces Alexa into homes

IT’S become an automated life.

Gone are the cumbersome remote controls where we needed to use our fingers or walk across the room to find a switch, enter voice activated apps to do just about anything around the home.

Everyone is going mad for the Alexa technology, and now it’s even more accessible for buyers of new homes by innovative builder Welsh Homes.

“Reality shows like The Block have ignited home buyers’ thirst for new technology, we are starting to see it with the visitors to our display homes,” said Katrina Turner, Welsh Homes Regional Manager.

For a limited time, all new Welsh Homes customers can select one of four upgrade packs, each with a different theme.

The new SMART pack, which is proving to be very popular, includes a lighting control system with an Alexa speaker, plus additional downlights, to introduce an aspect of automation into the home.

In addition, each customer will also receive a washing machine and microwave oven to complete the pack.

“Alexa turn on the lights, will soon be heard all through Ballarat, it’s a great starter pack for those wanting to dabble in this technology,” says Katrina.

For those after different options, the Welsh team has thought of everything.

Choose a LUXURY pack with stone upgrades throughout and other items such as pot drawers and shower niches.

Or, go for the stainless-steel family fridge and ducted vac system option or choose the flooring upgrade. There’s really something for everyone, but only for a strictly limited time.
