ALL games of pennant were completed in Round 15 played Monday despite threatening weather.   With only three rounds remaining ladder positions are becoming very important for Clubs hoping to play finals.

PREMIER – Central Wendouree and Sebastopol drew, City Oval had a six-shot win over Midlands, Buninyong went down to BMS, Clunes defeated Creswick by seven and Avenue had a 30-shot win over Daylesford. The top four are BMS, Buninyong, City Oval and Central Wendouree. Next week ladder leader BMS play third place placed City Oval, Central Wendouree are 20 points ahead of fifth team Midlands, next week’s game between these two will be a nail-biting affair.

DIVISION 1 – Top four are Victoria, Webbcona, Smeaton and Beaufort. Victoria is 47 points in front of second placed Webbcona and is unlikely to lose top position. City Oval, Mount Xavier, Central Wendouree, Avenue Sebastopol and Avenue are in the remaining ladder positions.

DIVISION 2 – 27 points separate first and fifth ladder positions so changes to the top four could easily happen next round.  Top five are Learmonth, Linton, Smeaton Central Wendouree and BMS.  Next week Learmonth meet Linton, this should be a tightly fought game the winner will be rewarded with top position on the ladder.

DIVISION 3 – Top team in this division is Webbcona followed Creswick, Central Wendouree and Victoria. In round 16 Creswick play Ballarat, Mount Xavier meet Victoria, Sebastopol go up against Smeaton, Learmonth play Central Wendouree and Webbcona play City Oval.

DIVISION 4 – Ballarat North are the standout leaders followed by Bungaree, Beaufort and Daylesford.  Next placed Creswick are equal on points with Buninyong 2 with Clunes are three points behind. The remaining teams will find it difficult to be playing final.
