East take to take on North in A Grade grand final
THE sides that’ll play off on Saturday for top honour in the Ballarat Netball League have been decided following North Ballarat City’s close win over Sunbury in the A Grade preliminary final.
In a seesawing affair, the Lions were able to make incremental gains early but couldn’t do enough to put the rugged City away.
By the end of the third quarter North Ballarat had gone on to build a six-goal lead, and ultimately they held up, winning 43-40 and booking a place in the grand final at Mars Stadium against East Point.
