Eureka Cycling at Mount Beckworth

Cool and overcast conditions for the first spring contest, a 54 kilometre graded division event on the Mount Beckworth circuit.

DIVISION 3 saw two new riders testing themselves on the tricky course. Gary Wheeler streaking away to an emphatic victory.

Tactical racing in Division 2 reduced numbers early. A field sprint decided the affair.

Dave Ogilvie and Brett Martin lit up the road in Division 1 with relentless attacking over the final 20 kilometres. Ogilvie stealing a break in the run to the flag.

Krehalon Time Trial – State Championships at Balliang (Sun. 9th Sept.).

Eureka riders faired well with Jason Hendry, Mark O’Callaghan and Garry Beazley collecting bronze medals in their respective age groups and Jacqui Dawson winning silver in the Women 45-49 category.
