Pairs games going well

THE first rounds of the Ballarat District Bowls Division’s Mixed Pairs were played at Webbcona Bowling Club in late November. The sectional winners will go on to play on the 15 December.

Mixed Pairs winners – Section 1 – Michelle Tait/ Ian Hedger 4pts + 12, Section 2 – Wayne Pattie/ Sarah Braybrook 9pts + 16, Section 3 – Narelle Vorbach/ Mark Vorbach 9pts + 37, Section 4 – Elizabeth Kierce/ Geoff Pickering 9pts + 38, Section 5 – Helen Williams/ Geoff Gullock 9pts + 25, Section 6 – Kerry Watt/ Kim Watt 4pts + 3.

Men’s Over 60 Pairs winners – Section 1 – John Cameron (Sebastopol), Section 2 – Harold Worley (Webbcona), Section 3 – John Hofstra (City Oval), Section 4 – Tony Gutteridge (Central Wendouree), Section 5 – Lindsay Trounce (Daylesford), Section 6 – Ian Robertson (City Oval), Section 7 – Wayne Roberts (City Oval), Section 8 – Keith Chapman  (Buninyong), Section 9 – Roy Broughton (BMS), Section 10 – Wally Mason (BMS).

The Men’s Pairs sectional play rolled on Sunday in trying conditions at BMS and Sebastopol Bowling clubs.
