Tigers topple Lakies, Hepburn through

LEARMONTH’S perfect A-Grade season has come to a dramatic end, bundled out of the Central Highland Netball League at the preliminary final stage by a powerful Springbank squad.

Turnovers were the theme of the day, with the Tigers stifling the Lakies drive up court at every opportunity.

In the second preliminary final Hepburn squeaked out hometown favourites, Buninyong, late in the game. The Bombers had a day on the court to forget all round, with their A, B, and C Grade, and the 17 & Under, sides suffering season ending losses.

Now the stage it set for the culmination of the CHNL 2019 season with Springbank taking on Hepburn in the A Grade grand final at Mars Stadium from 2.30pm on Saturday, 7 September.
