Zoe Hives scores set and match
Central Highlands Water has signed on local professional tennis player Zoe Hives, 21, as a Be Smart Choose Tap Ambassador.
Zoe is an up and coming world ranked tennis player, who made her debut in Grand Slam doubles and mixed doubles events at the 2018 Australian Open.
Zoe will be a great female role model, who encourages both children and adults to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
Zoe’s mother, Jan, said that Zoe has been playing tennis since she was very young.
“We have a tennis court at home and she started hitting balls when she was four or five,” Jan said.
“She started playing competitive junior tennis in Ballarat at age 7. She has played regional tennis, won some nationals – Under 14 and Under 16, represented Australia in the junior Fed Cup and is now working on being fit and strong and compete on the world scene.”
Earlier this year Zoe won a $125,000 tournament. In June Zoe had a minor injury, bone stress, from which she is coming back now.
Central Highlands Water two-year sponsorship has been very welcomed by Zoe and is very excited about the partnership.
“It’s lovely that locals have the belief to provide her with a sponsorship,” Jan said.
Zoe added that she was excited to the ambassador for a local company.
“I love doing local things, it’s really good,” she said.
“This is the biggest sponsorship that I have had and the one I’m very proud of.”
Zoe is coached in Melbourne by Michael Logazo.
