EXPRESSIONS of interest are open for this year’s Golden Spaces summer exhibition which celebrates and promotes local artists from across the Golden Plains Shire.<\/p>\n

The free, community-based program includes exhibitions across three locations at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre, The Well at Smythesdale, and the Golden Plains Civic Centre at Bannockburn.<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to increase access to the arts within the community and provide professional development opportunities for emerging and established artists.<\/p>\n

“Golden Spaces is proving to be one of our most successful programs which is a true testament to the remarkable talent of artists who have exhibited their artwork so far,” Golden Plains Shire mayor Cr Owen Sharkey said.<\/p>\n

“I urge not only local artists, but artists in the surrounding regions of Golden Plains to apply to exhibit at the 2025 Summer Exhibition.<\/p>\n

“This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your portfolio and showcase your work in a professional setting.”<\/p>\n

The Golden Spaces winter exhibition launched on Saturday 7 June, while last year’s summer exhibition is still on display at The Well at Smythesdale.<\/p>\n
