Photo: DARIO BELINGHERI\/GETTY IMAGES<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He encouraged families across the region to sign up and be part of the event, saying it was a simple and enjoyable way to get kids moving while spending time together.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jess and I are really committed to being active with the kids and it just so happens my thing is riding bikes, but as long as you&#8217;re active, it doesn&#8217;t matter what the activity is,&#8221; Gawn said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The simplicity of riding a bike with your kids and exploring the world at the same time is so good for them and even better for parents.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s not too late to register for the GeelongPort Family Ride.
