Photo: EVIE LAMB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m trying to separate and simplify the patterns of nature and print them accurately together to show the beauty and diversity of God&#8217;s creations,&#8221; the Ballarat-based artist said.<\/p>\n<p>Mason honed her skills while working and exhibiting at the Australian Print Workshop for 10 years, and also over many years at the Firestation Print Studio in Armadale.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2026\/01\/MarieRossD_70141.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"906\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Uplifting creations: Printmaking artist Marie Mason in her Ballarat studio with some of the works that will be in her new exhibition opening soon at Ross Creek Gallery. Photo: EVIE LAMB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The presence of sunlight and shade in the landscape, twilight shadows and water, are all fascinating challenges,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Several works showcase the sun&#8217;s last flare on our timbered garden. It will feature an opening talk by artist Anne Langdon.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be open until 22 February.
