{"id":104813,"date":"2026-02-10T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/?p=104813"},"modified":"2026-02-05T01:27:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T14:27:14","slug":"golden-plains-artists-invited-to-exhibit-in-winter-showcase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/goldenplains\/news\/golden-plains-artists-invited-to-exhibit-in-winter-showcase\/","title":{"rendered":"Golden Plains artists invited to exhibit in winter showcase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AN EXHIBITION in the Golden Plains will be held mid-year, offering artists the opportunity to showcase their work.<\/p>\n<p>Expressions of interest for Golden Spaces&#8217; Winter Exhibition are open until 5pm on Friday 27 February.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Golden Plains Shire, which runs Golden Spaces, said the event provided a chance for residents to exhibit their work.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The aim of Golden Spaces is to encourage community participation and access to opportunities in a local setting, providing professional development for emerging and established artists and creatives within the shire, a professional venue for the presentation\/display of local arts and public programs, and enabling facilitation of equitable access to cultural resources for our community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The winter exhibition is expected to feature a diverse range of works, including 3D artworks, paintings, drawings, photography, digital art, sculpture, decorative arts such as ceramics and textiles, and literary arts.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its third year, Golden Spaces hosts two exhibitions annually, one in winter and one in summer.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2026\/02\/GSlaunchphoto13_48923.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"452\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Local art: Golden Spaces\u2019 Winter Exhibition will open in June at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre.
