BALLARAT Alexandra Croquet Club was the venue for an action-packed day for the visiting competitors taking part in the Victorian Teachers\u2019 Games croquet competition.<\/p>\n

Over 130 players played Golf Croquet doubles of four rounds in two sessions \u2013 one morning and one afternoon.<\/p>\n

After the first round of both sessions, players quickly mastered the game to varying degrees and the competition for the medals was on in earnest.<\/p>\n

The medal counts were extremely close. Only four hoops separated the morning group, and nearest the hoop play off was needed for the gold and silver medals in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

It was reported that competitors enjoyed the fun and food provided and had a great day.<\/p>\n

Morning session medal winners: Bronze \u2013 Nial OBrien and Jennifer Asburn. Silver \u2013 Matt Finn and Kaitlyn Foley. Gold \u2013 Adrian Beer and Ricky McMillan.<\/p>\n
