CATCH the Ballarat Society of 0Artists\u2019 Summer Exhibition, open for free to the public at Trades Hall this week.<\/p>\n
A range of original works of all genres are on display and for sale, produced by members of the group.<\/p>\n
BSA\u2019s John Canham said the society has exhibited at Trades hall for three years.<\/p>\n
\u201cCome this time of year we\u2019ll always be here and if people are looking for some nice art, we\u2019ve got a lot of choice,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is open from 10am to 5pm, Thursday through Saturday and 10am to 4pm this Sunday, December 23.<\/p>\n
Cards and other unframed works are also available.<\/p>\n
The society began in the 70s and incorporated in 1982, aiming to support the art community around Ballarat with meetings, workshops and art shows.<\/p>\n
Currently 90 artists of varying abilities and achievements are members of the group.<\/p>\n
