THE Selkirk Ballarat Rush have made another addition to the line up for the forthcoming season with the signing of guard Chanise Jenkins.<\/p>\n
The De Paul University grad played the last two European seasons in Switzerland and also won gold with US team at the 2015 World University Games.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am really looking forward to coming to Ballarat,\u201d Jenkins said. \u201cI got a chance to speak with coach Eric Hayes, and his insight on the team and his expectations for the season is what got me really fired up.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI am extremely grateful of this opportunity\u2026 and I am looking forward to meeting the team, coaches, and everyone associated with the organization. The goal is to win a championship, and I can\u2019t wait to get started in that pursuit.\u201d<\/p>\n
During her final College season Jenkins averaged 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5 assists and 1.6 steals a game.<\/p>\n
Rush Head Coach Eric Hayes said Jenkins would complement the team\u2019s 2019 season line up that also includes Joy Burke, Claire Constable and Claire Blower.<\/p>\n
