HIGH temperatures didn\u2019t stop the 90 bowlers who turned out for the Pam Collins Triples event that took place on 30 January.<\/p>\n

Held at Central Wendouree, the start time was brought back to 10.30am to make it more comfortable for competitors.<\/p>\n

With eight teams winning both games, a count back was needed to determine the ultimate champions, who were Liz Aitken, Betty Paton and Aileen Kerr.<\/p>\n

Second place went to Carlene Bowers, Ces Gunn and Lois Marriot.<\/p>\n

Third was taken by Judith Caddy, Elise Bennett and Helen Seilers.<\/p>\n

Scattered Rink honours included Judy Wilson lead, Sally McCracken 2nd, Helen Kinnersly skip.<\/p>\n
