YOUNG rural Victorians will continue to flourish with the support of Youthrive, the legacy and foundation of late philanthropist, Helen Macpherson Smith.<\/p>\n

Relaunching as The Rural Foundation Ltd and trading as Youthrive Victoria, the organisation has just celebrated its 10th anniversary of providing wrap-around care for rural Victorian youth across a variety of programs.<\/p>\n

Initially the foundation was created by Macpherson Smith trustees and began as a tertiary scholarship provider for rural youth. It\u2019s since grown to provide the alumni-led and award-winning program, Dream Seeds, vocational education scholarships, leadership development training and mentorship.<\/p>\n

Youthrive will continue the Macpherson Smith Rural Foundation\u2019s vision that rural and regional communities across the state will thrive with the input of skilled, resilient and motivated young people.<\/p>\n

The name change acknowledges the growth of the charity over the last 10 years and brings further opportunity.<\/p>\n
