Both sides eyeing off a real possibility of a finals birth come the pointy end of the season. And, both were gallant in defeat last week so an opportunity to play each other this week couldn\u2019t come at a better time so that either one can get back on the winners list. On paper both teams match-up extremely well with key staple points at either end of the ground, however the Hooper\u2019s may just possess enough class to scrap across the line in this one.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Rokewood Corindhap by a small margin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ballan vs. Carngham Linton<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Blues would be disappointed that they couldn\u2019t get the victory last weekend in a winnable matchup but will still go in favourites at home against the struggling Saints. Carngham Linton still remain winless, however you can expect Matt Beaston\u2019s chargers to be up and about for this one as its one of those games they would of pencilled in as a potential four points.<br \/>\nPrediction: Ballan by 15 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beaufort vs. Springbank<\/strong><br \/>\nMatch of the round with the reigning premiers hosting a Tiger line-up whose dramatic come from behind victory last week really the ability to really ignite their entire season going forward. The Tigers will have to be weary of Crow\u2019s match winner, Lachlan Murray, who has booted eight goals in his last two games this year.<br \/>\nPrediction: Beaufort in a tight one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clunes vs. Daylesford<\/strong><br \/>\nA gallant Magpies\u2019 couldn\u2019t overcome the Lakies last round but have a great chance to register their first victory of the season this weekend when they host Daylesford. The Bulldogs got on the winner\u2019s board last outing and will be heavily reliant on coach, Zac Tisdale, to back up his best on ground performance in this one.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Daylesford in a flip of the coin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creswick vs. Waubra<\/strong><br \/>\nSurprisingly, the Wickers sit in fifth place on the ladder but will face their toughest test in a hungry table topping Kangaroo line-up. The Roos have been exceptional since round one and particularly, James Lukich has been playing top notch footy as he becomes the early front runner for this year\u2019s Geoff Taylor Medal.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Waubra will flex their muscles again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dunnstown vs. Newlyn<\/strong><br \/>\nIs the season already over for the Towners? That has been the question circulating across the league this week as they lost their fourth on the trot to start the year. Hard to see them bouncing back after last game\u2019s dramatic climax and will struggle to contain all the superstars from the cattery.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Newlyn in a landslide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gordon vs. Buninyong<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Bombers come off the bye to face the tough test of the Eagles at Gordon this weekend.
