The Burra will still be without star player and assistant coach, Tony Lockyer, but will be boosted with the return of club captain, Tom Peterson, who missed the opener off the back of overseas travel. Even in the early stages of the season, this matchup shapes up as crucial for both sides finals aspirations. Prediction: Sebastopol by under a goal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Redan vs. Sunbury<\/strong><br \/>\nA BATTLE of superstar midfields highlights what is usually a hardnose and bruising encounter when these two sides play. Sunbury will be desperate to build off the back of their victory against the struggling Panthers last week and will need to improve to challenge in this one. Playing one game in a month isn\u2019t the ideal start to the season via fixturing for Redan however they should be too good for their Lion counterparts. Prediction: Redan comfortably.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Melton South vs. Darley<\/strong><br \/>\nDEVILS go in strong favourites against the once again bottom placed Panthers and will no doubt expect to go three from three to start the season. They welcome back Brain Graham who missed the first two games due to suspension to add another headache for Heath Pritchard\u2019s men. Heath Scotland is likely to miss again as he battles an ongoing soft tissue injury, but you wouldn\u2019t imagine he would be required in this one. Prediction: Darley. Just a matter of how much?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ballarat vs. East Point<\/strong><br \/>\nIT couldn\u2019t get much worse for the Swans as they take on the red-hot premiership favourites under lights this Saturday Night. Vice-captain, Keegan Mellington, is under an injury cloud after going down in the loss to Redan back on Good Friday and will likely miss against his former side. The Kangaroos are top of the ladder and it\u2019s hard to see them being knocked off that perch any time soon. Prediction: East Point by 50+.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bacchus Marsh vs. Melton<\/strong><br \/>\nMASSIVE night game in the Eastern bloc with the both sides wanting to bounce back after disappointing performances last week. The Bloods goal kicking has been a major talking in the early stages of season, as they are going at 37 per cent in front of the big sticks. They take on a dangerous Cobra forward line with the likes of Jake Owen and Aaron Willitts being the key if they want to record first victory of the season in a historic night at Maddingly Park.
