THE Lake Goldsmith Goods Shed Museum at Beaufort railway station is open on Queen\u2019s Birthday long weekend.<\/p>\n

The museum will showcase its vintage collectibles, old railway memorabilia, vintage tractors, dozers and steam engines inside and outside the 1874 goods shed building.<\/p>\n

A display of classic vintage cars is a special feature for the weekend Visitors to the museum will be able to take a ride around Beaufort on an open carriage people mover towed by a steam traction engine for $5 adults and $2 children.<\/p>\n

Afterwards they can watch vintage movies in the old railway carriage.<\/p>\n

The museum is located on Albert Street Beaufort and is open Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 May from 10am to 4pm.<\/p>\n
