UNDEFEATED and with no signs of slowing down the Kangaroos will once again look to get the chocolates at home against the Lakies in round eight of the Bendigo Bank & Rural Bank Seniors. It\u2019s a new week but same old story as once again James Lukich is the focus as he continues to turn out best on grounds performances. Lincoln Barnes was super in the midfield last weekend along with fellow interleague representative Tom Nash, as this match of the round between first and fourth is one that is likely to end in the Kangaroo\u2019s eighth victory. Prediction – Waubra by 44 points.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bungaree v Ballan<\/strong><\/p>\n

THREE wins and four losses is definitely not where many pundits thought the Demons would be at this point of the season as the Blues have a real chance in claiming another scalp this week. Trent Laurie has been super for the Blues this year, featuring in their best players a number of times, while Bungaree look a shell of the powerhouse side they have been in recent years. Prediction – Ballan in a huge upset.<\/em><\/p>\n

Buninyong v Hepburn<\/strong><\/p>\n

AFTER enacting some revenge on Beaufort for their premiership defeat, the Bombers host a Burra outfit that will be looking to bounce back from their loss to Newlyn in a thriller last weekend. Sam Dunstan booted another four goals to increase his lead in the Shane Everard medal, but the Burra looks to be a little bit of a one trick pony compared to sides like Buninyong who have the firepower to blow any team away. Prediction – Buninyong in a tight one.<\/em><\/p>\n

Gordon v Beaufort<\/strong><\/p>\n

THE Eagles jumped ahead of the Crows with their victory last week and this game on Saturday shapes up as a real fascinating one for both sides as they try to stay in touch with the top four. Many pundits think Gordon can go all the way this season, with their tremendous \u2018spine\u2019 the key to their success, plus their dominance on their home deck. Prediction: Gordon\u2026 purely due to home field advantage.<\/em><\/p>\n

Carngham Linton v Daylesford<\/strong><\/p>\n

CONTINUING to show improvement but not getting the four points has been the story for the Saints for the past two year\u2019s seasons. Hosting the Bulldogs is a game they would fancy, however coming off the bye, you\u2019d think the fresher legs from a guy like Seb Walsh will be the difference in the game. Prediction – Daylesford by 30 points.<\/em><\/p>\n

Newlyn v Rokewood-Corindhap<\/strong><\/p>\n

SITTING pretty in third place, the Cats look the real deal in season 2019 and should have no problems overcoming the \u2018Hoppers. Shaun Maloney\u2019s men have lost four in a row and probably don\u2019t have the experience down back to stop Marcus Darmody, who kicked six again last week and surely must be sick of kicking goals by now? Prediction – Newlyn comfortably.<\/em><\/p>\n

Skipton v Clunes<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHAT a story the Emu\u2019s have been this year as their improvement is evident on the scoreboard week after week with finals a real possibility for the first time in a long time. Despite boom recruit, Andrew Pitson, being held goal less last week the Emu\u2019s still found a way to kick a winning score and look to lock themselves in the top eight with a victory this Saturday. Prediction – Skipton by 10 goals.<\/em><\/p>\n

BOTH sides just sit outside the top eight, both sides recorded strong victories last weekend and both sides would fancy their chances against each other this weekend.
